NEW GREEN - cycle of life - indian summer

New Aspen growth on the slopes of Sawback Range along Bow Valley Parkway in Banff National Park. The fresh green that covers the burnt ground and logs turns yellow in autumn to create a colourful play of contrast, especially in the evening sunlight.

Green, yellow, orange,red - Indian summer at its peak.

Amazing vistas of the slopes right off the Highway.

Young and old, fresh and dead - beatiful contrats displaying the time circles of nature.
